In January 2023, Refillery.org was selected as a Clinton Global Initiative University Commitment to Action. CGI U offers one-of-a-kind training, resources, and personalized mentorship on how to ideate, design, implement, and evaluate a social impact project.
Qualitative + Quantitative Research
Refillery.org will conduct both quantitative and qualitative research on refilleries in the US. The refill revolution has not previously been studied and there is a tremendous lack of data related to the impact that refilleries create. We plan to research the people behind the refilleries and identify their greatest needs. Our goal is to quantify the plastic pollution prevented by refill stores.
Funding + Financial Assistance
Every month, more and more refilleries are left with no choice but to close their doors. A viable and effective solution to reduce reliance on plastic exists. Our goal is to provide funding to the refilleries that need it most and someday provide financial assistance to support the creation of new refilleries. The refill revolution is the solution to plastic pollution.
